Morning Drop-off at the Crèche
Pass on the morning news at the crèche, then hear how your toddler's day went at pick-up.
Children under three in France go to a crèche (often run by the town hall), a private micro-crèche or an assistante maternelle (registered childminder, the « nounou »). Each morning and evening, parents and staff exchange news (les transmissions): sleep, meals, health, who is picking up. Crèches usually supply nappies and meals, but expect a spare set of clothes and the doudou, and always mention any medicine given at home.
