Locked Out of Your French Account

Get back into an online account: forgotten password, missing codes, locked accounts and a call to the helpline.

French admin lives online: ameli.fr for health insurance, impots.gouv.fr for tax, caf.fr for benefits, plus your bank app. Many government sites let you log in through FranceConnect, which reuses one existing account such as your impots.gouv or ameli login. If you're locked out, the « Mot de passe oublié ? » link usually sends a code by email or text, and ameli's phone line is 3646.
