Getting Back in Shape in France
Talk about your workouts, cheer friends on and moan about sore muscles like a French gym-goer.
Gyms in France are mostly chains like Basic-Fit or Fitness Park, with cheap monthly subscriptions and no contract in many cases. Team sports usually go through a club or association, where you pay a yearly licence in September and some clubs still ask for a medical certificate. Friends who train together say tu, and a drink after the match is part of the deal.
