Your First Day on a Remote French Team

Introduce yourself on the welcome call, ask for access and documentation, and find your feet in a remote French tech team.

Many French tech companies now hire fully remote, sending your laptop by post and running onboarding over visio and Slack. New hires often get a parrain or marraine, a colleague who mentors them for the first weeks, and remote teams usually meet in person a few times a year for a séminaire. In startups people tutoient each other from day one, but it's still normal to check: 'on se tutoie ?'.
