Sunday at Grandma's with the Baby
Visit the baby's grandparents for Sunday lunch: greetings, high chairs, naps and babysitting favours.
Sunday lunch at the grandparents' is a big tradition in France, often a long meal that runs well into the afternoon. Children call their grandparents mamie and papi, and grandparents regularly help out with childcare, especially on Wednesdays when many schools have no lessons. Expect lots of advice and, often, a sweet treat slipped to the baby.
