Going Fishing in Spain
Find a good spot, deal with fish that won't bite and swap fishing stories the Spanish way.
Freshwater fishing in Spain needs a regional licencia de pesca, and many rivers and reservoirs are pesca sin muerte, catch and release only. Locals fish embalses and rivers at dawn and the jokes are universal: nothing's biting, the one that got away, and how big it really was. The cards follow a day at a reservoir near Madrid with a friend and an old local fisherman.
