Food Talk in Spain
The everyday expressions Spaniards use to praise, order, share and complain about food.
Food in Spain is social: tapas and cold drinks in the evening, long Sunday lunches at around two followed by sobremesa, and someone always insisting on paying. People praise food loudly, offer seconds, and use a lot of colourful expressions about hunger and being full. The cards follow a tapas night in Seville and a Sunday lunch at a friend's family home.
