Hearing and Not Hearing in Spain
Asking people to repeat, coping with noise, getting your ears checked and talking to someone hard of hearing.
Spain is loud: busy bars, TVs on at lunch and lots of people talking at once, so asking someone to repeat is everyday. For ear problems you see your médico de cabecera at the centro de salud, who can refer you to an otorrino. The cards follow a learner from a noisy bar to an ENT appointment and a family lunch.
