Hiking and Camping in Spain

Asking about routes, staying safe on the trail and camping in the Spanish mountains.

Spain has thousands of waymarked trails, with long-distance GR routes marked in white and red, and hikers always ask about the desnivel, the climbing. Wild camping is banned in most natural parks, so people use campsites, and fires are forbidden in summer because of the wildfire risk. The cards follow two friends from the campsite reception to a lost, stormy hike and a cold night.

Stunning view of the lush green Picos de Europa mountains under a bright summer sky, perfect for travel and nature enthusiasts.
