Making an Insurance Claim in Spain
Handle a small car accident in Spain: the parte amistoso, the call to the insurer and the garage.
After a minor crash in Spain, both drivers usually fill in and sign a parte amistoso, the joint accident report, and then each calls their own aseguradora to dar parte. The insurer sends a tow truck if needed, and a perito inspects the car at the garage before repairs start. These cards follow a rear-end shunt at a roundabout in Valencia through to the workshop.
