Losing Your Phone in Spain
Search for a lost phone, report a theft and block your SIM in Spain.
If your móvil goes missing in a Spanish city, the first stop is often the metro's lost property office; if it was stolen, you file a denuncia at a Policía Nacional station, which insurers ask for. Then you call or visit your operator to block the SIM and get a duplicado, showing your DNI, NIE or passport. These cards follow a night out in Madrid that ends without a phone, and the next morning's errands.
