Lunch Time in Spain

Go for a menú del día with a colleague, order your courses and linger over coffee the Spanish way.

In Spain lunch (la comida) is the main meal and happens around 14h. Many workers go down to a nearby bar for the menú del día: a first course, a second course, bread, a drink and dessert or coffee at a fixed price. Others bring a táper, and in summer many offices switch to jornada intensiva and finish at three. These cards follow a newcomer's first lunch out with a colleague.
