Reporting a Theft to the Police in Spain
Calling the police, filing a 'denuncia' at the station and describing what happened.
In Spain you report a theft by 'poner una denuncia' at a Policía Nacional station (or the regional police in some areas); you can start it online but must sign it in person, and you'll need the copy for insurance and replacement documents. 091 is the police line and 112 the general emergency number. These cards follow a stolen wallet from the phone call to the station.
