Privacy and Your Data in Spain

Pushing back on app permissions, spotting scam texts and protecting your personal data.

In Spain people hand over their DNI or NIE number constantly, from gyms to phone shops, and scam texts pretending to be Correos or the bank are everywhere. EU data-protection law gives you the right to refuse unnecessary data and to have it deleted. The cards follow a privacy-minded resident through a new app, a scam text and a gym sign-up.
