Quitting Your Job in Spain
Tell your boss, handle notice, holiday pay and the finiquito, and say goodbye to the team.
In Spain you usually give fifteen days' notice (preaviso) with a short letter of baja voluntaria. When you leave you get a finiquito with your last pay and any unused holiday, but resigning voluntarily means no paro (unemployment benefit). The cards follow one resignation from the boss's office to HR and the team.
