Doing Your Tax Return in Spain
Talking to Hacienda about your first 'declaración de la renta' in Spain.
In Spain the tax return, 'la declaración de la renta', is filed between April and the end of June. Hacienda (the Agencia Tributaria) prepares a draft for you; without a digital certificate or Cl@ve you can book a 'cita previa' and file it in person. These cards follow a newcomer who asks a colleague for advice, files at the tax office and later compares results.
