Visiting a New Baby in Spain
Congratulate new parents, admire the baby, offer help and know when to leave on a visit in Spain.
In Spain friends and family love to visit a newborn, at the hospital or at home, usually bringing baby clothes or a small gift. It's polite to ask first, keep the visit short and offer practical help like bringing dinner. Both parents often take birth leave. The cards follow a visit to friends in Zaragoza two weeks after their son is born.
