"Can you hold it?" — the reservation game

Reservations, deposits and broken promises: asking for a hold, granting one with conditions, and the vocabulary of waiting lists.

Between 'I want it' and 'I've picked it up' lies the fragile land of reservations. Sellers hate holding items for ghosts; buyers hate losing items to faster rivals. This deck covers the reservation negotiation — time limits, deposits and the art of promising believably.
