Picking up a parcel at the ombud
The SMS, the counter at the back of the supermarket, the ID check, the return that has to go back, and the locker that won't open — parcel life in Sweden, one afternoon.
Sweden has almost no post offices. Parcels go to an 'ombud' — a counter in a supermarket, petrol station or kiosk — or to a locker. You get an SMS with a code, show ID, and it's done in a minute if you have the phrases. This deck covers the pickup, sending a return, and the locker that refuses to open.
