Swedish plurals: -or, -ar, -er, -n or nothing

Five plural endings. The word's last letter and en/ett pick it: flickor, bilar, studenter, äpplen, hus.

Which plural ending?A decision path. en-word ending in -a: drop the a, add -or (en flicka, flickor). ett-word ending in a vowel: add -n (ett äpple, äpplen). ett-word ending in a consonant: no ending (ett hus, hus).
