Nos EUA essa diferença importa: vegetarian não come carne, mas come laticínios e ovos; vegan não come nenhum produto de origem animal. « Plant-based » é o termo mais recente, que aparece cada vez mais nos cardápios. Boa notícia: opções sem carne costumam ser mais fáceis de achar do que numa churrascaria ou num PF brasileiro.
