Gentle everyday conversation over a cup of coffee.

One visit to an ageing parent, in the order love actually happens: the arrival check-ins (sov du gott? har du ätit?), coffee made strong som alltid, the bun you brought, the weather negotiation about going out (bara till bänken), news of the grandchildren, the story you've heard a hundred times and ask for anyway — and the promise that structures the week: jag kommer på torsdag.
