Borrowing and Lending

Låna, låna ut, betala tillbaka — the unwritten rules between friends.

The unwritten Swedish lending code, in order: the request and its terms (same condition or better, full tank), the things that never come back (books), the money chapter and its wisdom (never lend what you can't lose — give it and never mention it), Swish-precision down to 87 kronor (which is NOT stinginess here), the sharing economy of neighbours — and the closing philosophy: generosity returns, usually from another direction.
